All appointments are either in accordance with the terms and conditions of the ACE Short Form Agreement 2002 or the Terms of Engagement provided by the UK Register of Expert Witnesses (Terminator).

Fees will be based on the time spent dealing with the matter (including time spent travelling) in accordance with the following rates.

Charge out rates are:

          Robert Cowan £94 per hour

          Technical Support £25 – £65 per hour

These rates are reviewed on 1 June each year.

Disbursements including travel expenses, printing, binding and other out of pocket expenses will be charged.

All charges are subject to VAT at the standard rate.

Invoices will be raised on a regular basis for costs up to that date and due for payment within 28 days.

Interest will be charged on overdue accounts in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Cancellation fees will be chargeable at the rate of 50% of the anticipated attendance fee for cancellation of Court Hearings within seven or less days of the set date.

Professional Indemnity Insurance is held through the ACE Scheme with a limit of £500,000 for each and every claim.
